We have been raising/training Tibetans since 2004. The Tibetans first caught our eye in Southern CA when we knew we needed a Livestock Guardian for our goats. This is a primitive Livestock Guardian breed dating back to the days when Marco Polo found them in the Mountains of Tibet and told others of the "dogs the size of a small horse and the mane of a lion"! They are strong but independent and need a steady hand to guide them thru obedience. Some say they are not easily trained because of their independence, I disagree. I have had wonderful experiences training my first Tibetan and look forward to training more! We will be adding more info and pictures as we go along so...stayed tuned to SequoiaOaks Tibetans!
